Cruise promotion

Actions carried out by the Corsican EPCI's Cruise Centre.

The «Cruise Centre» is a team that is stepping up its marketing activities to promote the island's port infrastructures, as well as Corsica as a «Cruise Destination» for international companies!

The Cruise Centre promotes the »Cruise Destination»...

Every year, the EPCI takes part in the major annual events Seatrade Cruise Global (USA/Florida) and Seatrade Med/Seatrade Europe, the 2 largest international cruise industry trade fairs, which bring together all the players in the market: ports, companies, shipyards, technical service providers, etc.

Other actions are carried out in addition, such as sales missions to company head offices, participation in workshops and themed conferences, eductours, etc.

The EPCI is also a very active member of CLIA, the Cruise Line International Association, the world's leading organisation and international representative of the cruise industry.

The EPCI is also a member of Medcruise, the world's largest association of ports, representing 152 ports in 23 countries and 3 continents, and sits on its Board of Directors.

Finally, it is a member of the French Maritime Cluster and the French Med Ports group, which work with the French government body Atout France to raise the international profile and visibility of our destination ports.

Local marketing initiatives are also implemented on a recurring basis. Every year since 2016, a cruise customer satisfaction survey has been carried out on a sample of ships and passengers, with the aim of gaining a better understanding of the different types of customer (origin, age, CSP level, etc.)/expenditure (amounts and sources)/appreciation of the stopover (mastery of strengths and weaknesses)/appreciation of the destination (prior knowledge, pre-post appreciation)/appreciation of the services provided, etc.

The Cruise Centre is also part of the EPCI of Corsica...
